Quality and environment

The main goal of STOMIL SANOK S.A. is the customer's satisfaction and meeting the customer's expectations. This goal is reflected in the company’s quality and environmental policy.

Quality policy
The quality policy of STOMIL SANOK S.A. is to deliver goods that meet the customers’ requirements and expectations, taking price and competition into account.

Environmental policy
The most important criteria of STOMIL SANOK S.A.'s activity are confidence and satisfaction of its customers, society, employees and owners.
In order to maintain and develop customer confidence and satisfaction and to ensure further growth, the company has committed itself to the following initiatives:

delivering environment-friendly goods and services at optimum costs,
Constantly developing an Environmental Management System to meet all legal regulations related to environmental protection,
Systematically reducing the harmful influence of the company’s activity on the environment.

The Quality Management System in STOMIL SANOK S.A. was implemented pursuant to the decision of the Management Board of 1991 and certified in 1995 to comply with ISO 9001:1994 standards. STOMIL SANOK S.A. was the first company in Poland to comply with VDA 6:1992. Since then, the quality management system has been constantly developed and improved. The next step was to fulfil the requirements of QS 9000 of the American car industry and amended VDA 6.1 requirements, as well as ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002. The next step was to implement the Environmental Management System and certify it as complying with the PN-EN ISO 14001:2005 standard.

The current integrated Environmental Management System functions are based on the process approach. Determining relations between processes, setting measurable goals and monitoring their completion allows STOMIL to improve processes on a current basis, and as a result to reduce the costs of activity and to increase the company’s competitiveness.
The Quality and Environmental Management System meets the requirements of the following standards:

ISO 9001:2008 standards,
ISO/TS 16949:2009 specification,
PN-EN ISO 14001:2005 standards.

Certificates issued by TÜV NORD CERT and PCBC confirm compliance with the aforementioned requirements.

Implementation of the system, involvement of employees and clearly defined responsibilities and goals influence customer satisfaction. This is confirmed by deliveries to leading companies in the automobile industry, such as: GM Fiat, Ford, Volkswagen, Volvo Cars, Volvo Trucks, Thyssen Krupp, Pilkington, also by the Ford Q 1 prize and Fiat, Magneti Marelli certificates.

High priority given to environmental protection issues constitutes one of the elements which make it possible to increase the competitive edge of the Company. The STOMIL SANOK S.A. Company has proven its pro-ecological approach to management policies over the course of subsequent certification procedures of the company's management system. Yet another proof of this way of business management is the decision taken by the Governor of the Podkarpackie province in March 2007 to include the Company in the Integrated Permit. The granting of the Permit is a further confirmation of maintaining high standards of environmental protection by the Company.

Our Quality and Environmental Management Systems are being continuously developed in order to satisfy our customers and so that we know our customers needs in advance.
